Narwal is expanding beyond its flagship robot vacuums with a broader lineup of AI-powered cleaning products unveiled at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The company’s fall lineup includes the new Freo 20 and Freo 20 Edge robot vacuums, the compact V50 Cube cordless vacuum, and a preview of Narwal’s upcoming wet-and-dry vacuum range.
At the center of the new lineup is Narwal’s FlowWash Mopping System, which the company is now bringing from its premium Flow series into the more accessible Freo family. The technology is designed to keep the mop continuously refreshed while cleaning, rather than simply dragging a dirty mop across the floor.
FlowWash Comes to the Freo Series
Narwal’s FlowWash system combines a flattened microfiber roller mop with continuous hot-water cleaning and strong downward pressure. The roller provides a larger contact area than traditional roller mops, while a series of 16 angled nozzles continuously applies 60°C hot water to the mop. A built-in scraper removes dirty water and debris as the mop operates, while 12N of cleaning pressure helps maintain contact with the floor.
The technology was previously showcased in Narwal’s flagship Flow 2, which has also received a new white color option. With the Freo 20 and Freo 20 Edge, Narwal is making the FlowWash approach available to a wider range of households.
Narwal Freo 20
The Narwal Freo 20 is the more advanced of the two new Freo models and is designed for larger, more demanding homes, particularly those with children and pets.
It combines FlowWash mopping with 31,000 Pa of suction power and Narwal’s NarMind Pro autonomous system, which uses dual RGB cameras and AI recognition to identify more than 300 household objects.
The Freo 20 also features Narwal’s DualFlow Tangle-Free System and EdgeReach technology for improved cleaning around edges and obstacles. Its dock provides automated maintenance, reducing the amount of hands-on work required between cleaning runs.

For apartments and homes that don’t need the Freo 20’s more advanced object-recognition features, the Freo 20 Edge offers a simpler alternative while retaining several of the same core cleaning technologies.

It also delivers 31,000 Pa of suction, FlowWash real-time mop cleaning, DualFlow Tangle-Free technology, and EdgeReach. Navigation is handled by hidden dToF LiDAR and dual-sided structured-light 3D sensing.
The robot has a 9.5 cm slim body, allowing it to clean underneath lower furniture, while its all-in-one dock automatically empties dust and uses 45°C hot-air drying for the mop.
Narwal V50 Cube Brings Auto-Emptying to a Cordless Vacuum
Narwal is also moving beyond robot vacuums with the V50 Cube, a compact cordless vacuum designed around an ultra-small auto-empty dock.
The vacuum weighs just 1.4 kg and delivers up to 210 AW of suction, giving it enough power for everyday dirt, debris, and pet hair. Its range of attachments is intended for cleaning floors, carpets, furniture, upholstery, and harder-to-reach areas.
The dock automatically empties the vacuum and uses a 9-layer filtration system, reducing the need to manually handle collected dust. The compact design could make the V50 Cube particularly appealing for smaller homes and apartments.
Narwal has not yet announced U.S. pricing or availability for the V50 Cube.
Narwal Previews New Wet-and-Dry Vacuums
Narwal also offered an early look at its upcoming wet-and-dry vacuum lineup, which is planned for Europe in 2027.
The range will include an Essential model aimed at everyday floor cleaning and a higher-end Flagship model featuring Narwal’s newest wet-and-dry cleaning technologies.
The Flagship model is expected to combine 400°C steam and 95°C hot-water cleaning with up to 25,000 Pa of suction power. It will also feature Floating Scraper technology designed to reduce tangles and streaks, along with AI DirtSense, which automatically adjusts cleaning performance according to the condition of the floor.
Other features include a 180-degree flat-lie design, triple-sided edge cleaning, and up to 40 minutes of runtime in AI mode.
A Broader Cleaning Strategy for Narwal
Narwal’s IFA 2026 lineup shows the company moving toward a broader home-cleaning portfolio rather than focusing exclusively on robot vacuums. The Freo 20 and Freo 20 Edge bring the company’s FlowWash technology to more affordable robot vacuum options, while the V50 Cube and upcoming wet-and-dry models target cleaning tasks where a handheld machine can offer more flexibility.
The new fall lineup will begin rolling out across European markets in September 2026. More details on the V50 Cube and Narwal’s upcoming wet-and-dry vacuum series, including U.S. availability and pricing, are expected at a later date.
