Right out of the box, the Saros 10 makes a strong first impression. Inside, you’ll find the robot vacuum itself, the multi-purpose docking station with its ramp, a power cord, an extra dust bag (with one already installed), and a surprisingly large quick-start guide. Setup is simple and beginner-friendly: attach the ramp, plug in the dock, charge the robot, fill the clean water tank, and you’re ready to go.

Real-World Cleaning Performance

After its first cleaning run, the Saros 10 collected exactly what we expected from a busy household with five people, three long-haired family members, and a long-haired dog. Hair, crumbs, dirt, and fine dust were all handled with ease. One of the most noticeable improvements compared to previous models is the redesigned main and side brush system. Hair tangling was completely eliminated during our testing.

Roborock has adopted a conical brush design similar to what we’ve seen from brands like Narwal and Dreame, and it clearly pays off. Combined with the new dual divided roller system, the Saros 10 delivers consistently strong pickup across both hard floors and carpet. Having tested over 100 robot vacuums, this system stands out as one of the more effective designs we’ve seen.

Power, Testing, and Benchmarks

The Saros 10 sits firmly in flagship territory, priced at the very top of Roborock’s lineup alongside the closely related Saros 10R. Key differences between the two include suction power, navigation technology, and the mopping system. At this level, we expect standout performance—and the Saros 10 delivers.

Roborock rates the Saros 10 at an impressive 22,000 Pascals of suction power, making it the most powerful robot vacuum we’ve tested to date. For comparison, the previous high-water mark was held by the Dreame X50 Ultra at 20,000 Pascals. While measured airflow came in slightly below average at 7.0 CFM, real-world testing told a much more compelling story.

In our suction tests, the Saros 10 significantly outperformed the 10R, achieving 445 feet per minute compared to the 10R’s 343 FPM, with the industry average sitting around 405 FPM. Most impressive of all was the carpet deep-clean test, where the Saros 10 earned a perfect 100 out of 100—a first for any Roborock model. Even with all that power, it remains remarkably quiet, registering only about 2 decibels louder than average, a difference most users won’t notice.

Smarter Mopping and Carpet Protection

One of the Saros 10’s standout features is its ability to completely detach and leave its mop pad at the dock when vacuuming carpets. This is a first for non-rotating mop systems and a clever solution to the limitations of lift-only designs. When it comes to protecting carpets, avoiding contact altogether is the most effective approach, and Roborock executed this beautifully.

While some reviewers have been skeptical of the non-rotating mop pad, our real-world experience was very positive. In everyday use, mopping performance came surprisingly close to that of the Saros 10R’s rotating system. For most users, the difference will be negligible.

App Experience and Smart Features

The Roborock app, available on both iOS and Android, remains one of the best in the industry. It’s powerful yet intuitive, offering a wide range of customization options. Users can choose between whole-home, room-based, zone, or routine cleaning, and fine-tune settings like suction strength, water flow, scrub intensity, and navigation pathing.

The app also supports multi-floor mapping, customizable no-go zones, and full dock control, including dustbin emptying, mop washing, and drying cycles. Smart home integration is excellent, with support for Amazon Alexa, Apple, Google Assistant, and Roborock’s built-in voice assistant, “Hello Rocky.” Advanced features like Matter support, off-peak charging, deep carpet cleaning, and even remote patrol with live video viewing round out an already robust experience.

Unsurprisingly, user feedback on the app is very positive, with ratings of 4.6 stars on Android and 4.8 stars on iOS.

User Feedback and Limitations

Overall, the Roborock Saros 10 is currently rated around 4.2 out of 5 stars by users. Most praise centers on its exceptional vacuuming power, ease of setup, intuitive controls, and premium design. Common criticisms tend to focus on the high price, obstacle avoidance performance, and mopping when compared to rotating pad systems.

In our own testing, obstacle avoidance on carpet was only average, similar to what we observed with the Saros 10R. Interestingly, performance improved noticeably on hard floors, so homes with mostly carpet may see mixed results. Pricing is another frequent concern, but for a cutting-edge flagship model, that premium is often part of the trade-off.

Final Thoughts

The Roborock Saros 10 is an impressive flagship robot vacuum that pushes the limits of what’s currently possible in the category. With class-leading suction power, a thoughtful mop pad removal system, and one of the most feature-rich apps on the market, it’s clear Roborock invested heavily in engineering this model. While it isn’t perfect—average obstacle avoidance on carpet and a somewhat underwhelming side brush being our main complaints—these are relatively minor drawbacks in an otherwise outstanding package. If you’re looking for a high-performance all-in-one robot vacuum and mop that excels in power, convenience, and smart features, the Roborock Saros 10 easily earns its place at the top of Roborock’s lineup.
