Packaging and First Impressions

The Qrevo Master arrives in a sleek, informative retail box that highlights its key features, such as the flexi-arm side brush and mop, dual roller Riser brush, 10,000 Pascals of suction power, reactive AI obstacle avoidance, a built-in voice assistant, and a multi-functional self-cleaning dock. The packaging also provides additional details on all sides, giving a clear overview of the vacuum’s capabilities before you even open it.

Inside, you’ll find a comprehensive set of product literature, including a quick start guide, full user manual, safety instructions, and a detailed diagram labeling each part of the vacuum. The included accessories are practical and thoughtfully designed, featuring a base plate for the station, a power cord, an extra vacuum bag, washable M-pads, and microfiber Velcro modules for those who want to swap or clean them.

Design and Features

The Roborock Qrevo Master itself is sleek and functional. On top, it features two control buttons and a LiDAR navigation module, along with branding that highlights its intelligent voice assistant. The removable dust bin is easy to access and clean, with a dedicated area for replacing the filter. On the front, the reactive AI sensors help the vacuum detect obstacles, while the dual roller Riser brush system ensures deep cleaning performance on both hard floors and carpets. The vacuum also includes spring-loaded drive wheels, an omni-directional wheel, multiple cliff sensors, and a side cleaning brush that automatically extends to reach corners.

The two mopping modules are thoughtfully integrated, with one capable of extending out to clean along baseboards, while the other stays stationary. The flexi-arm design further extends the vacuum’s reach, allowing it to tackle edges and hard-to-reach areas efficiently.

The self-cleaning dock adds another level of convenience. It houses both clean and dirty water tanks, which are removable and easy to manage, and it automatically empties, washes, and dries the vacuum. The dock also includes built-in cable management and a flush-wall design, making it both functional and tidy.

Real-World Performance

In practice, the Qrevo Master performs exceptionally well. The removable tray and filter are easy to clean, and the dust bin captures a wide range of debris, from fine dust and pet hair to pine needles and small crumbs. The dual roller system handles tangles effectively, although longer hairs may collect at the ends, requiring occasional maintenance. The M-pads remain clean thanks to the vacuum’s self-washing feature, but they can also be manually washed or replaced as needed. Over time, dust may accumulate on the bumper and sensors, but cleaning these areas is straightforward.

The Roborock App

The Roborock app is a standout feature, offering detailed control and customization. It displays a comprehensive map of your home with obstacle recognition, and it allows you to choose full, room, or zone cleaning modes. You can adjust suction and water flow settings, select vacuum-only or mop-only modes, and even set cleaning routines. The app also supports multi-level mapping, allowing you to edit maps, create invisible walls, and manage furniture placement.

For additional functionality, the app includes live video monitoring, enabling you to navigate the vacuum remotely, although this model does not allow you to take photos or videos around the house. Dock settings, maintenance reminders, and detailed cleaning history are all accessible through the app, giving you complete control over your cleaning schedule.

Performance Compared to Competitors

When compared to other robot vacuums, the Qrevo Master clearly stands out. Its suction power of 10,000 Pascals places it well within flagship territory, and its airflow and carpet-cleaning performance are above average.

While the vacuum’s maximum noise level reaches 76 dB, it is only slightly louder than the average and is not disruptive in real-world use. The 5,200 mAh battery provides around 180 minutes of runtime, exceeding the average, and the height of roughly four inches works well with LiDAR navigation.

The vacuum’s self-emptying feature is essential for a hands-free experience, while the dual roller system effectively lifts and agitates debris from floors. The mop system is advanced, with hot water washing at 140°F, 10 mm mop lift to avoid carpets, and an extendable mop pad for reaching edges and corners. While some competing models, like the Dreamy X30 Ultra, offer automatic mop removal, the Qrevo Master uses an alternative approach by lifting the main brush and extending the side brush for optimal cleaning coverage.

Pros and Cons

The Roborock Qrevo Master excels in automation and convenience. It delivers powerful suction, above-average battery life, and advanced cleaning capabilities for both carpets and hard floors. Its flexi-arm and extendable side brushes allow it to clean edges and corners effectively, while the self-cleaning dock reduces manual maintenance. The app provides exceptional control and customization, from scheduling routines to multi-level mapping.

On the downside, obstacle recognition could be improved, and longer hairs may occasionally tangle on the side brushes. The live video monitoring feature is limited, as it does not allow for capturing photos or videos around the home.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Roborock Qrevo Master is a premium, hands-free cleaning solution that combines innovation, convenience, and performance. It is especially suitable for those looking for a fully automated vacuum and mop system with minimal maintenance requirements. While there is room for improvement in AI obstacle recognition and video functionality, the Qrevo Master remains an excellent investment, offering a powerful and thorough cleaning experience for modern homes.
