Setup is quick and straightforward, making it easy to get cleaning right away.

Premium Features with Strong Value
The Roborock F25 Ultra sits above the average price point for cordless wet dry vacuums, but its feature set more than justifies the premium. At the time of testing, available discounts brought the price much closer to competing models, making it one of the strongest performance-to-value options currently available.
Performance is where the F25 Ultra truly shines. It delivers an impressive 22,000Pa of suction power, which is well above the category average and currently among the highest we’ve tested. That puts it alongside top-tier competitors like the Tineco Floor One S9 Artist Pro and the Tineco Floor One S7 Stretch Steam.
Battery life is equally impressive, with up to 60 minutes of runtime compared to the roughly 40-minute category average. Real-world performance will vary depending on whether you’re using steam or hot water continuously, but for most cleaning sessions, the combination of Auto Mode for everyday messes and steam for tougher spots feels like the ideal balance.
Steam and Hot Water Cleaning Done Right
One of the standout features of the Roborock F25 Ultra is its dual heat-cleaning system. Unlike many competitors that offer either steam or hot water cleaning, Roborock includes both.
The steam mode reaches temperatures up to 302°F, making it the hottest steam-cleaning system we’ve tested so far. That extra heat provides a highly effective chemical-free cleaning option that excels at loosening stubborn grime and sanitizing hard floors. If you prefer a gentler cleaning method, the vacuum also offers a 187°F hot water mode.
Another excellent addition is the built-in cleaning solution tank. Steam-capable wet dry vacuums often omit this feature, so it’s great to see Roborock include it here for users who prefer traditional floor-cleaning solutions.
Excellent Tank Capacity and Ease of Use
The clean water tank holds 1,000ml, while the dirty water tank comes in at 720ml. Both are comfortably above average, allowing you to clean larger spaces with fewer interruptions for refilling or emptying.
Despite the larger tank sizes, the unit remains manageable thanks to the weight distribution over the brush head instead of the handle. Roborock also includes self-propelled assist wheels that help move the cleaner forward and backward with minimal effort, significantly reducing fatigue during longer cleaning sessions.
Noise levels peaked around 80dB during testing, which is slightly above average for this category but still quieter than many traditional cordless stick vacuums.
Smart Design and Thoughtful Features
The Roborock F25 Ultra includes several genuinely useful design features that improve the overall user experience.
Its true 180-degree lie-flat design allows it to slide under furniture with as little as five inches of clearance, making it easy to reach under couches, beds, and tables. Dual-edge cleaning also helps it clean along baseboards and corners more effectively than many competing models.
Another surprisingly great feature is the blue-tinted LED headlight. It’s bright, crisp, and extremely useful for spotting dirt and debris in darker rooms or under furniture. While it may sound minor on paper, it’s one of those details that makes everyday cleaning noticeably easier.
For homes with pets or long hair, the anti-tangle roller brush system is another major advantage. Hair wrapping was minimal during testing, making maintenance much easier compared to traditional roller systems.
Automated Self-Cleaning System
After each cleaning session, the roller brush automatically enters a self-cleaning and drying cycle. The system first washes the roller with 194°F hot water before following up with 203°F hot air drying.
Users can choose between a quick five-minute refresh cycle or a quieter, deeper 30-minute drying cycle. The result is a cleaner, more hygienic roller brush with far less odor buildup over time.
A Few Minor Drawbacks
As impressive as the Roborock F25 Ultra is, there are still a few areas where improvements could be made.
The unit sits slightly taller than some competitors, which prevented it from fitting underneath certain kitchen cabinets during testing. While the difference is only a few millimeters, it may matter depending on your furniture clearance.
The battery indicator also updates in 5% increments rather than displaying exact percentages. It’s a small complaint, but precise battery readouts are always appreciated on premium products.
Another minor issue involves the handle shutoff timing. When locking the vacuum upright, the brush roller continues spinning for an extra second before shutting down completely. Tightening that response time would improve the overall polish of the experience.
Lastly, while the F25 Ultra includes both steam and hot water modes, it currently lacks a dedicated hot water spray feature like the one found on the Mova X4 Pro. It’s not a major omission, but it would make an already feature-packed cleaner even more versatile.
Final Verdict
The Roborock F25 Ultra is easily one of the most advanced cordless wet dry vacuums we’ve tested to date. Between its class-leading suction power, excellent runtime, oversized tanks, true steam cleaning, and thoughtful self-maintenance system, it consistently delivers flagship-level performance.
The combination of hot water cleaning and high-temperature steam gives it a real advantage over much of the competition, while features like the lie-flat design, dual-edge cleaning, anti-tangle brush system, and self-propelled wheels make it practical for everyday use.
It isn’t completely perfect, but the drawbacks feel relatively minor compared to everything it gets right. If you’re looking for a premium cordless wet dry vacuum that genuinely pushes the category forward, the Roborock F25 Ultra sets a new benchmark.
