Today, we’re taking a closer look at the Mova Z60 Ultra Complete, the fourth Mova robot vacuum we’ve reviewed and the 123rd robot vacuum model we’ve tested overall. So far, Mova has built a strong reputation in our testing, which isn’t too surprising considering the brand shares close ties with Dreamy. Naturally, we were excited to see how the Z60 would stack up against the growing field of premium robot vacuums.
This review was also heavily shaped by questions from the robot vacuum community on Reddit. Many of the tests and concerns covered here came directly from real-world user feedback and curiosity. And while Mova provided the review unit, this is not a sponsored review. As always, these are our honest findings after hands-on testing.

Unboxing and Included Accessories
The Z60 Ultra Complete arrives with one of the most generous accessory bundles we’ve seen, closely resembling what we previously saw with the Mova V50 Ultra Complete.
Inside the box, you’ll find the robot vacuum itself, the multifunction docking station with ramp and power cord, three additional roller mops, two cleaning solutions, two side brushes, three vacuum bags, three filters, and even a spare main roller brush. There’s also the usual documentation and setup material included.
For most households, the included consumables should easily last several months, and for lighter users, potentially over a year before replacements are needed.

Setup and First Impressions
Initial setup is refreshingly simple. After plugging in the dock, filling the clean water tank, adding the included cleaning solutions, and charging the robot, you connect everything through the Mova Home app. Within minutes, the Z60 is ready to begin mapping and cleaning.
Right away, the Z60 impressed us with its mopping performance, which is clearly one of its standout features. On our luxury vinyl plank flooring, the results looked excellent, and the self-maintaining mop system handled washing, cleaning, and drying automatically without issue.
In our high-traffic home filled with pets, kids, hair, crumbs, and fine dust, the Z60 handled daily messes confidently. Like many Mova products, the Z60 carries obvious Dreamy DNA. It shares several familiar technologies, including the dual detangling brush system, extendable side brush, chassis lifting suspension, and VersaLift navigation module.
Mapping was fast, navigation was smooth, and overall operation felt polished from the very beginning.
Real-World Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance
One of the biggest questions surrounding modern robot vacuums is how well they handle obstacles and tricky environments. The Z60 performs well overall, though like most robot vacuums, it still behaves more confidently on hard floors than carpet.
During testing, the robot successfully avoided white phone cables on multiple runs. Small objects were more inconsistent. Tiny items like a barrel cap failed detection on both hard floors and carpet, while a Hot Wheels car was successfully avoided on hard floors but not on carpet.
Furniture navigation, however, was notably gentle. Compared to some aggressive navigators we’ve tested recently, the Z60 moved carefully around chair legs and furniture edges. The app also allows you to fine-tune collision sensitivity if you want even softer navigation.
Another standout feature is threshold climbing. The Z60 can climb thresholds up to 8 cm, which is significantly better than many competing models and should comfortably handle most homes with raised transitions.
Mopping Performance and Water Usage
Mopping is where the Z60 really starts to separate itself from much of the competition.
The roller mop system performed exceptionally well on our floors, and the robot’s self-cleaning station helps minimize maintenance by automatically washing and drying the mop roller between cleaning sessions.
In one full-house mopping run covering roughly 460 square feet using the wettest cleaning setting, deep water washing enabled, and mop washing every 10 minutes, the Z60 used approximately 45% of its 4-liter clean water tank, or around 1.8 liters of water.
Maintenance for the roller mop system turned out to be surprisingly manageable. While roller mops naturally have slightly more surface area that can collect debris compared to spinning mops, the removable cover design made cleanup easy and fast.
The Z60 also introduces a clever carpet protection system. When carpet is detected, a protective cover deploys over the roller mop, preventing wet mop contact with rugs and carpets. In our testing, it successfully avoided dragging moisture across carpeted surfaces.
Suction Power and Cleaning Performance
On paper, the Z60 delivers one of the most impressive suction specifications we’ve ever seen.
Mova rates the Z60 at a massive 28,000 Pascals of suction power, which is currently one of the highest figures we’ve encountered in a robot vacuum. That places it ahead of previous heavy hitters like the Mova V50, Narwhal Flow, and Roborock Z70.
In our airflow testing, the Z60 achieved 513 FPM on carpet, well above the average across our testing database. However, its airflow pressure measured lower than expected at 27 kPa, likely due to the dual brush design not sealing as tightly against surfaces as some single-brush competitors.
Even so, the real-world cleaning results were excellent. The Z60 earned a cleaning score of 90 out of 100 in our testing, comfortably above average and tied closely with both the Mova V50 and Dreamy X50 Ultra.
Hair pickup was particularly impressive. Thanks to its dual roller brush design, the Z60 handled both pet hair and long human hair extremely well while resisting tangles effectively.
Carpet Performance and Battery Life
Carpet cleaning performance overall was above average, especially when using maximum suction and carpet boost modes. However, there is a tradeoff for all that power: battery life.
During testing on maximum suction with carpet boost enabled, the Z60 averaged roughly 359 square feet per charge. Compared to broader category averages, that’s noticeably lower than many flagship competitors.
This isn’t necessarily surprising given the extremely high suction output, but it is something prospective buyers should keep in mind, especially for larger homes.
The robot does intelligently return to the dock to recharge and wash its mop mid-clean if necessary, helping reduce interruptions during larger cleaning jobs.
Docking Station and Smart Features
The multifunction docking station is one of the more complete systems currently available.
It handles automatic dustbin emptying, mop washing, self-cleaning, mop drying, and cleaning solution dispensing. One especially interesting feature is the inclusion of dual cleaning solution tanks, allowing you to assign different solutions to different cleaning areas.
The Z60 also recorded the hottest mop wash temperatures we’ve ever measured at 176°F, while drying air temperatures reached 144°F.
While the robot doesn’t currently support real-time heated water mopping, the station’s high-temperature cleaning system is still a meaningful step forward for sanitation and odor control.
The Mova Home App Experience
The Mova Home app, available for both iOS and Android, offers one of the most feature-rich experiences in the robot vacuum space.
Users can customize cleaning routines, schedule specific room cleanings, manage multi-floor maps, create no-go zones, and adjust both vacuum and mopping behavior in fine detail. Voice control through Alexa and Google Assistant is supported, and the robot even includes its own onboard voice assistant.
Additional features include intensive carpet cleaning modes, off-peak charging, live video monitoring, real-time maintenance tracking, and customizable navigation behavior.
There’s definitely a learning curve due to the sheer number of available settings, but after spending time with all major robot vacuum platforms, the Mova app remains one of our personal favorites for balancing customization with usability.
Early Concerns and Potential Downsides
While the Z60 is extremely impressive overall, there are still a few areas worth watching.
The biggest long-term question mark is the durability of the new mop cover mechanism. It worked well during our testing, but because it rides fairly close to carpet surfaces, we’d like to see a little more clearance added in future revisions.
Battery life also remains an area of concern, especially at maximum power settings where the robot drains faster than many competing flagships.
The Z60 also currently lacks support for a plumbing kit upgrade, meaning fully automated water refilling isn’t available at launch. Additionally, it doesn’t include electrolyzed water cleaning technology, which some premium competitors now offer for improved sanitation and odor management.
Final Verdict
The Mova Z60 Ultra Complete is one of the most ambitious robot vacuums we’ve tested so far.
It combines record-setting suction power with one of the smartest roller mopping systems currently available, all backed by an excellent app experience and a surprisingly generous accessory package. Its navigation is smooth, obstacle avoidance is generally reliable, and its cleaning performance across both hard floors and carpets is genuinely impressive.
It’s not perfect. Battery life at maximum power could be better, and the long-term durability of the mop cover system remains something we’ll continue watching closely. But overall, the Z60 pushes the robot vacuum category forward in meaningful ways.
If you’re looking for a premium robot vacuum with exceptional mopping capabilities and some of the strongest suction currently available, the Mova Z60 Ultra Complete is absolutely a model worth keeping an eye on.
