The LEVOIT LVAC-300 is the second cordless vacuum we’ve tested from Levoit and our 31st cordless vacuum overall. After being genuinely impressed by the value and performance of the LVAC-200, we were eager to see whether the new LVAC-300 delivers meaningful improvements or simply refreshes an already successful formula.
A big thank you to Levoit for providing our review sample. This review is not sponsored, and as always, all opinions are based entirely on our independent testing. If you’d like to learn more about the LVAC-300, we’ll have links available below.

Unboxing & Setup
Inside the box, you’ll find everything needed to get started, including the main vacuum body, floor head, long and short extension wands, a mini motorized brush, a 2-in-1 crevice tool, wall mount, charger, and product documentation.

Assembly takes only a few minutes. Simply install the wall mount, connect your preferred attachment, fully charge the battery, and you’re ready to clean.
Design & Build Quality
At first glance, the LEVOIT LVAC-300 looks very similar to its predecessor, but the new bright gold finish gives it a fresh, premium appearance.
The most noticeable upgrade is the addition of a built-in digital display. While the vacuum still offers the same three suction modes as the LVAC-200, the display provides real-time battery percentage, making it much easier to monitor remaining runtime during longer cleaning sessions.
The accessory package is another welcome improvement. The included mini motorized brush performs particularly well on carpeted stairs, upholstery, and furniture, making quick touch-up cleaning much easier.
The vacuum itself feels lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable to hold. It glides smoothly across multiple floor types without becoming tiring to use.
One of our favorite additions is its self-standing design. Being able to simply stand the vacuum upright instead of leaning it against a wall or furniture is a surprisingly practical feature that makes everyday cleaning much more convenient.

Performance
On paper, the LVAC-300 is rated at 240 watts, which falls below our cordless vacuum average of 338 watts. Battery life, however, exceeds the average, offering up to 60 minutes of runtime using the crevice tool in Eco mode.
Using either motorized floor head, expect around 40 minutes in Eco mode and approximately 12 minutes when running continuously in Turbo mode. As always, actual runtime will vary depending on your flooring, attachments, and suction setting.
Peak suction measured 28 kPa, outperforming our current average of 21 kPa. Although both in-use carpet pressure and airflow measured below average, the real-world cleaning results told a different story.
During our carpet deep-cleaning test, where coffee grounds are embedded into carpet fibers, the LVAC-300 achieved an impressive 95% pickup rate, matching the average score across all cordless vacuums we’ve tested. This demonstrates that an effective brush roll design and good carpet agitation can often outweigh raw airflow numbers.

Noise levels reached 82 dB on maximum suction, making it quieter than many competing cordless vacuums.
The updated anti-tangle brush roll also performed well throughout our testing. If your home includes long-haired family members or shedding pets, this feature will help minimize hair wrap and reduce maintenance.
Everyday Experience
Customer feedback largely mirrors our own experience. Owners consistently praise the lightweight design, strong suction, ease of use, and overall cleaning performance, with many saying it rivals significantly more expensive cordless vacuums.
Users also appreciate the three suction modes, quick attachment changes, and the convenience of the self-standing design.
Battery life receives more mixed reviews, particularly when cleaning larger homes or using Turbo mode extensively. Some users with multiple pets also note that the dust bin can fill fairly quickly during heavy cleaning sessions.
Where It Could Improve
Like every cordless vacuum we’ve tested, the LEVOIT LVAC-300 isn’t perfect.
It lacks some premium features found on higher-end competitors, including automatic suction adjustment and dirt detection technology. We also found it requires a bit more effort to push across thicker carpets when using the highest suction setting.
Pricing is another consideration. Given how competitively priced and capable the LVAC-200 remains, the LVAC-300 feels like it should cost roughly $50 to $75 less to deliver even stronger value.
Final Verdict
The LEVOIT LVAC-300 feels less like a complete redesign and more like a thoughtful refinement of the excellent LVAC-200—and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
It retains everything we liked about its predecessor, including its lightweight construction, strong real-world cleaning performance, and easy maneuverability, while adding genuinely useful upgrades such as a battery percentage display, improved accessories, a more effective anti-tangle brush roll, and the ability to stand upright on its own.
Although some of its airflow measurements appear underwhelming on paper, our real-world testing proved that its brush roll design delivers excellent carpet cleaning performance where it matters most.
If you value longer battery life, a convenient battery display, improved anti-tangle performance, and a more versatile accessory package, the LEVOIT LVAC-300 is well worth considering. It may not completely redefine the budget cordless vacuum category, but it remains a highly capable, user-friendly cordless vacuum that should perform well in a wide variety of homes.
