The Dreame X50 Ultra and eufy S1 Pro are two of the most advanced robot vacuums available for each respective brand. Both are top of the line flagship models. If you’re considering either, check them out here:
DREAME X50 Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop with Auto-Empty and Mop Self-Cleaning, 20,000Pa Suction, Obstacle Avoidance and 360° Navigation, Corner to Edge Deep Cleaning, Detangling Brush
eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S1 Pro with All-in-One Station, HydroJet Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, Eco-Clean Ozone, 8000 Pa Suction, Obstacle Avoidance, Auto Mop Washing & Drying, Self-Emptying
Similarities
Both robots combine vacuuming and mopping for versatile cleaning performance. They feature automatic dust collection, eliminating the need for manual emptying, and come equipped with large-capacity batteries for extended runtime. Both utilize top-tier navigation systems to map your home efficiently, avoid obstacles, and operate in low-light conditions. The X50 even does it with LED assistance. Both have low profile designs albeit in different ways. The X50 is equipped with VersaLift navigation that allows the module at the top of the vacuum to retract inside to allow it to better fit under furniture around your house whereas the S1 keeps all of its sensors along the side of the robot to eliminate the need for lifting and lowering modules. In our obstacle avoidance testing, both units excelled in avoiding everyday household obstacles with a slight edge to the X50. Each model also includes automated mop cleaning with water washing and hot air drying, ensuring mop pads stay clean and ready for use. Both share key conveniences which include auto water and detergent refills, extendable mop for edge cleaning, and a mop-lifting feature to protect carpets. Additionally, both are compatible with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home. Both units have onboard cameras for real-time monitoring.

Differences
Not hot water mop washing on S1 or station washboard self cleaning equipped with an ozone preparation device that utilizes ozonated water to rinse and disinfect the mopping pads, ensuring the mopping pads are not only clean but also free from bacteria and harmful substances.
The Dreame X50 boasts an impressive 20,000 Pa suction power compared to the S1’s 8,000 Pa, which should make it more effective for deep cleaning. In our results we actually found the S1 scored higher when deep cleaning on carpets. However, with nearly double the power you think the X50 would be substantially lounder. We actually found the X50 to be quieter topping out at 79 decibels vs 85 decibels on the S1. The X50 stands out with its DuoBrush main brush for reduced hair tangling thanks to its conical shape so if you have concerns about pet hair or human hair this is hands down the way to go, whereas the S1 features a single brush roller with detangling combo but we have never found that system to be effective. One of the X50’s standout features is its ability to clear obstacles thanks to its ProLeap system. A motorized swing arm lifts the chassis allowing it to travel over door sills and tall thresholds up to 6cm! This feature is absent on the S1 and might be the difference in your house for getting every room cleaned! It is also worth mentioning that the X50 Ultra has a built in dedicated voice assistant for added hands free convenience. While we are talking about the X50 it also has the ability to automatically detach and reattach mop pads automatically, allowing seamless transitions between vacuuming carpets and mopping floors. I also want to mention it has an extendable side brush to help reach into corners and tight spaces. This is absent on the S1 but the S1 does have a more square design to help in this regard. Although practically speaking the extendable brush is more effective. In regards to the S1 Pro you probably noticed its unique mopping system which boasts an innovative dual water reservoir design. While the mop is spinning it is continuously cleaned and rinsed by the mix of clean water and detergent, while exerting downward pressure to scrub away difficult stains. Given the nature of this system it does a better job cleaning up wet messes and spills vs the dual rotary mop system found on the X50. The S1 also has a built-in ozone generator in the base station’s clean water tank that creates ozonated water using tap water. This helps it clean and remove bacteria for better disinfection results. One way you will notice this on a day by day basis is by the lack of odor in the dirty water tank. A real game changer vs the typical dirty water tank. If you know you know because they smell so bad. Absent from the S1 is hot water mop washing and I am led to believe that is due to the Ozonated water and real time mop cleaning whereas on the X50 you need that to help break down stains on the mop after cleaning. Speaking of cleaning the X50 features built-in washboard cleaning which is absent on the S1.

Conclusion
In conclusion, both the Dreame X50 Ultra and eufy S1 Pro offer exceptional features that make them standout options in the world of robot vacuums and mops. The X50 Ultra shines with its obstacle-clearing capabilities, versa lift navigation, and unique design features like the DuoBrush Roller, automatic mop pad detachment, and extendable side brush. If you need a powerful cleaner, especially for homes with pet hair, the X50 is the way to go. On the other hand, the eufy S1 Pro offers innovative cleaning features like its dual water reservoir mopping system and ozone-based water purification, making it a solid choice for those focused on mopping with hygiene and odor-free cleaning. Ultimately, your decision will depend on which features matter most—whether it’s deep cleaning power, ease of use, or advanced mopping technology. Both robots are highly capable, so either way, you’re investing in top-tier cleaning technology for your home.
