First the similarities…
Both the Dreame L20 Ultra and the Dreame L10s Ultra are robot vacuum and mop combos, providing dual cleaning capabilities for versatile use. Both models feature automatic dust collection, allowing them to empty their dust bins without manual intervention, ensuring continuous cleaning cycles. Both robots incorporate advanced AI navigation systems, enabling them to learn the home layout, generate efficient cleaning paths, map multiple levels, and avoid obstacles effectively. Both models offer automated mop cleaning and drying features, ensuring the mops remain clean and ready for use without user intervention. They each have an integrated water tank that houses 80ml of clean water. Both robots are compatible with iOS and Android devices via the Dreame App as well as voice assistants like Alexa, allowing users to control them using voice commands. Both are equipped with an onboard camera allowing for remote video supervision and monitors in real time!
Now for the differences…
The Dreame L20 offers a higher suction power of 7,000Pa, making it more powerful for deep cleaning, whereas the Dreame L10s Ultra provides 5,300Pa suction power. The Dreame L20 features a Mop-Extend assembly that automatically extends the mop for deeper cleaning along baseboards and corners, while the Dreame L10s just has dual rotary mops that spin under firm pressure to thoroughly scrub floors. Both units can lift their mop pads up and out of the way for carpets but the L20 mop can rise 10.5mm while the L10s can only rise 7mm. I also want to point out that the L20 is the only vacuum on the market that is able to completely remove its mops before cleaning carpets. This makes lifting mop pads a thing of the past!
While both units support self emptying, the L20 has a 75 day capacity vs 60 days on the L10s. You will also find the L20 equipped with both fast charging and dirt detection. Neither feature is found on the L10s. The Dreame L20 has a larger clean water tank capacity of 4.5L vs 2.5L as well as a larger dirty water tank capacity of 4L vs 2.4L. This means less trips for you to refill and empty your water tanks. Naturally this leads to a larger footprint for the home base unit to accommodate the increased water tank capacities.
In conclusion, both units are versatile robot vacuum and mop combos. The L20 is the top tier Dreame model available so it only makes sense that it offers superior features and performance to the L10s Ultra. You will be happy with the cleaning performance of either so get whatever one works best for your budget and needs!
