Unboxing and First Impressions
The Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat arrives in premium packaging that clearly highlights its flagship features. Key specifications include MopExtend technology, DuoScrub rotating mops, Pathfinder smart navigation, CleanGenius automation, and an upgraded 7,000Pa Vormax suction system. Most notably, this model introduces hot water mop pad washing, allowing the dock to clean the mop pads more effectively between cleaning sessions.
Inside the box, Dreame includes everything needed to get started. Alongside the robot vacuum and docking station, you’ll find two microfiber mop pads, a side brush, cleaning solution, spare dust bag, power cord, maintenance tool, and product documentation.
The docking station feels substantial and well-designed. Under the top lid are separate clean and dirty water tanks that are easy to remove and refill. The front of the dock houses the dust collection system and cleaning solution reservoir, while the lower section contains the self-cleaning and mop-washing tray.
The robot itself maintains Dreame’s familiar premium aesthetic, featuring a LiDAR navigation turret with gold accents and a clean, modern design. Beneath the top cover is the removable dustbin and filter system, while the front houses Dreame’s AI-powered obstacle avoidance cameras and sensors.
Design and Features
One of the standout features of the L10s Pro Ultra Heat is its advanced mopping system. The robot uses dual rotating mop pads that apply pressure to floors for more effective stain removal. Dreame’s MopExtend technology allows one of the mop pads to extend outward, helping the robot clean closer to walls, baseboards, and corners where traditional circular robot vacuums often struggle.

The docking station takes automation to another level by washing the mop pads with hot water, helping remove dirt and grime more effectively than cold-water systems. After washing, the dock dries the mop pads automatically, reducing odors and preventing bacteria growth.
The vacuum also supports self-emptying, automatic water refilling, intelligent navigation, and AI-powered obstacle recognition. Combined, these features significantly reduce the amount of manual maintenance required.
Cleaning Performance
After completing multiple cleaning runs, the L10s Pro Ultra Heat delivered impressive results. Dust, dirt, pet hair, pine needles, and various household debris were collected efficiently. Even after handling a significant amount of hair, the main brush remained remarkably tangle-free thanks to Dreame’s brush design.
The side brush performed well, although some hair wrapping occurred during testing. This is fairly common among robot vacuums and can be easily addressed during routine maintenance.
The mopping system also impressed. The rotating mop pads remained clean throughout testing thanks to the dock’s automatic washing system. The removable wash tray inside the dock makes ongoing maintenance straightforward, although users should periodically remove and clean the tray as residue accumulates over time.
Dreame App Experience
Dreame continues to offer one of the most comprehensive robot vacuum apps available.
Setup is quick and simple using the QR code located beneath the robot’s lid. Once connected, the app provides access to detailed maps, room-specific cleaning controls, no-go zones, scheduling, and cleaning history.
Users can choose between vacuum-only, mop-only, simultaneous vacuum and mopping, or vacuum-first cleaning modes. Suction levels, mop wetness, washing frequency, and cleaning routes can all be customized to suit different flooring types and cleaning preferences.
The app also includes live video monitoring, allowing the robot to function as a mobile security camera. Whether checking on pets, monitoring your home while away, or simply exploring the house remotely, the feature adds another layer of versatility.
Additional settings include carpet cleaning preferences, AI obstacle avoidance controls, child lock, Do Not Disturb mode, remote driving controls, battery management, and support for optional automatic water supply and drainage kits.
Overall, the software experience is polished, intuitive, and packed with advanced customization options.
Performance Compared to the Competition
Having tested more than 80 robot vacuums, the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat performs exceptionally well against competing models.
Its 7,000Pa suction rating exceeds the average robot vacuum in our testing database by a significant margin. Real-world carpet cleaning performance backed up those numbers, achieving a perfect score in our embedded debris pickup testing.

Airflow measurements reached 8.2 CFM compared to the average of 6.9 CFM, further confirming the vacuum’s strong cleaning capabilities.
Battery life is another major strength. Equipped with a 5,200mAh battery, the robot delivered approximately 220 minutes of runtime, substantially above the average runtime of 167 minutes.
Navigation performance was excellent as expected from Dreame’s LiDAR-based Pathfinder system. Mapping was fast, room recognition was accurate, and obstacle avoidance consistently ranked among the best we’ve tested.
Mopping Performance
The mopping system is where the L10s Pro Ultra Heat truly distinguishes itself.
The addition of hot water mop washing provides a premium feature that is often reserved for considerably more expensive flagship models. While the water temperature isn’t quite as high as some ultra-premium offerings such as the Dreame X40 Ultra or X30 Ultra, the difference between hot-water and cold-water washing is still meaningful in day-to-day use.
The robot also lifts its mop pads by 10.5mm when crossing carpeted surfaces, helping prevent unwanted moisture transfer. Combined with MopExtend technology, the system delivers thorough edge cleaning while protecting carpets during mixed-floor cleaning sessions.
Areas for Improvement
While the L10s Pro Ultra Heat performs extremely well overall, there are a few premium features absent from this model.
Unlike Dreame’s flagship X-series robots, the L10s Pro Ultra Heat cannot automatically detach its mop pads before vacuuming carpets. This feature remains exclusive to some of the company’s higher-end models.
The robot also lacks an extending side brush for improved corner cleaning. While MopExtend helps address edge cleaning during mopping, an extending side brush would further improve debris pickup in tight corners.

Another missing feature is an onboard LED light. This would enhance both obstacle detection in dark environments and the usefulness of the live video monitoring function.
Finally, the vacuum can become relatively loud when operating at maximum suction power. However, this is largely the result of its strong cleaning performance and is unlikely to affect most users during normal operation.
Final Verdict
The Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat strikes an excellent balance between premium features and value. It delivers outstanding vacuuming performance, highly effective mopping, hot water mop washing, strong obstacle avoidance, excellent navigation, and one of the best companion apps available today.
While it lacks a few ultra-premium features found on Dreame’s most expensive models, the overall package remains incredibly compelling—especially when discounted during major sales events.
For homeowners looking for a largely hands-off cleaning experience with powerful vacuuming and advanced mopping capabilities, the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat easily earns a place among the best robot vacuums in its price category.
