MOVA Mobius 60 Robot Vacuum Review: 30,000Pa Power, Hot Water Mopping & Full Automation

The MOVA Mobius 60 is one of the most ambitious robot vacuums we’ve tested to date. First shown as a concept at CES 2025, it has since evolved into a fully realized consumer product—and a surprisingly compelling one at that. This is the fifth MOVA robot vacuum we’ve reviewed and the 135th robot overall, giving us plenty of context for how it stacks up against the competition.

Our experience with MOVA has been consistently positive, which isn’t surprising given its close relationship with Dreame. Long-time viewers will recognize Dreame, MOVA, Roborock, and Narwal as brands we regularly recommend, so expectations were high going into this review. Unboxing and Setup

Right away, the MOVA Mobius 60 makes a strong impression with its accessory kit and base station design. Inside the box, MOVA includes everything needed to get started, including multiple sets of color-coded mop pads, spare replacements, cleaning solutions, and an extra vacuum bag. The attention to detail here reinforces that this is meant to be a premium, hands-off system.

One design change worth noting is the base station’s glass panel. The version shown at CES featured transparent glass, while the consumer model uses a non-transparent finish. While the transparent look would have better showcased the internal mechanics, the final design is more subtle and likely easier to live with in most homes. We also noticed that the included power cord was gray instead of black, which feels like a minor aesthetic mismatch, but nothing that impacts performance.

Setup itself is quick and intuitive. After plugging in the dock, attaching the mop pads using the color indicators, filling the water tank, and adding cleaning solutions, the robot pairs easily with the MOVA Home app. For homes without wood floors, the secondary cleaning solution can be reassigned in the app to a pet-focused cleaner, offering some added flexibility.

Performance on Hard Floors and Carpet

In day-to-day use, the MOVA Mobius 60 immediately stands out for its raw suction power. Rated at a massive 30,000 Pascals, it delivers the highest suction figure we’ve ever tested—roughly three times the category average. That level of power puts it on par with flagship models like the Dreame Aqua 10 and well above competitors from Roborock and Narwal.

That power does come with trade-offs. At maximum output, the robot is louder than average, measuring around 78 dB, but for the performance on offer, the noise level feels reasonable. Airflow testing also showed strong results, although in-use pressure was lower than expected. Despite the impressive numbers on paper, real-world cleaning performance landed slightly below the category average, reinforcing the idea that suction ratings alone don’t tell the full story.

Still, in practical testing, the Mobius 60 handled pet hair, debris, and fine dust reliably across both hard floors and carpet. Navigation was smooth from the first run, mapping was fast, and overall operation felt polished and predictable.

Mopping Innovation and Automation

Mopping is where the MOVA Mobius 60 truly differentiates itself. The system supports hot water mop washing at temperatures up to 212°F, followed by hot air drying at around 145°F. It also introduces thermal hold mop pads designed to retain heat during mopping, particularly for tougher kitchen messes.

In our testing, however, the temperature difference between the thermal pads and standard pads was minimal. While the concept is promising, it doesn’t yet deliver the dramatic improvement we were expecting. Even so, mopping performance overall was excellent, with consistently clean results on LVP and hard flooring.

The standout feature is the robot’s ability to automatically detach and reattach mop pads at the base station. This allows the Mobius 60 to vacuum carpets without dragging damp pads across rugs, completely eliminating a common issue with hybrid robot vacuums. The pads can also extend outward to better clean along edges, furniture legs, and corners, adding to its effectiveness.

Base Station and Hands-Free Experience

The base station is the heart of the system and plays a major role in making the Mobius 60 feel truly hands-off. It manages mop pad swapping, washing, drying, self-cleaning, and automatic dust emptying without user intervention. The only notable omission is ozone or water treatment, which could help prevent odors if the system sits unused for long periods.

Despite that, this is one of the most automated and low-maintenance robot vacuum systems we’ve tested, particularly for users who prioritize mopping performance.

Battery Life and Efficiency

While MOVA doesn’t publish official battery life numbers, performance aligns with other 6,400 mAh models in its lineup. In testing, the Mobius 60 showed below-average coverage per charge on both low and high suction settings. Cleaning speed on hard floors was also slightly slower than average.

These results suggest that the Mobius 60 prioritizes power and thoroughness over efficiency. Like many premium robot vacuums, it trades longer runtimes for stronger performance, which may or may not matter depending on your home size and cleaning schedule.

Obstacle Avoidance and App Experience

Obstacle avoidance is one area where the Mobius 60 excels. It achieved one of the highest scores we’ve recorded, performing flawlessly on hard floors and exceptionally well on carpet, where many robots struggle. In real-world scenarios, it should have little trouble navigating around everyday objects.

The MOVA Home app ties everything together and offers deep customization. Users can fine-tune vacuuming and mopping behavior, create room-specific routines, assign different mop pads and cleaning solutions, and manage multi-floor maps. Voice control, live video monitoring, and real-time maintenance tracking further enhance the experience. While the app has a learning curve, it’s one of the most powerful and thoughtfully designed platforms available today.

Final Verdict

The MOVA Mobius 60 is one of the most innovative robot vacuums we’ve tested. Its combination of extreme suction power, automated mop pad swapping, and a highly capable base station makes it a standout in the premium category. While some features—particularly the thermal mop pads—feel like they could benefit from further refinement, the overall experience is impressive.

It won’t be the perfect choice for everyone. Battery efficiency and carpet performance are solid but not class-leading, and mop pad swapping may be more niche than some users need. However, for those who value advanced mopping technology, automation, and minimal day-to-day maintenance, the MOVA Mobius 60 is a compelling and forward-thinking option.
