The Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra is our ninth Yeedi robot vacuum review and the 148th robot vacuum we’ve tested overall. Over the past few years, Yeedi’s M and S series have consistently impressed us, establishing the brand as one of the strongest value-focused brands in the robot vacuum market. In fact, our daily driver is still the Yeedi M14 Plus, which originally won us over with its excellent balance of cleaning performance, reliability, and affordability. We also enjoyed our time with the standard Yeedi S20 Infinity, so we were eager to see what improvements the Ultra model would bring.
It’s worth noting that Yeedi is part of the Ecovacs family of brands, so you’ll notice plenty of shared technology with premium models such as the Ecovacs X12 Pro Omni. Rather than being a copy, the Yeedi lineup offers many of the same innovations while targeting a much more budget-friendly price point.
For transparency, Yeedi provided this review sample, but this review is not sponsored. As always, every opinion is based entirely on our own testing.

Design and First Impressions
Inside the box you’ll find the robot vacuum, its multifunction cleaning station with a removable ramp, a detachable power cord, two bottles of cleaning solution, and the usual documentation. One minor disappointment is the lack of spare vacuum bags, which is likely one of the compromises made to keep the overall package more affordable.

Visually, the S20 Infinity Ultra maintains the familiar Yeedi S-series styling with its clean, flat-top design made possible by embedded navigation sensors. While it looks sleek, the robot is taller than many competing models, and that additional height extends across the entire body. In our home, this prevented it from cleaning underneath kitchen toe kicks where some lower-profile robots are able to fit.
Navigation throughout our testing was smooth and efficient. The robot mapped our home quickly, moved confidently between rooms, and rarely hesitated while following its cleaning paths.
Vacuuming Performance
The S20 Infinity Ultra performed very well during everyday cleaning. It had no trouble collecting pet hair, crumbs, dust, and other household debris across both hard floors and carpets. One of the biggest improvements over the standard S20 Infinity is its redesigned conical main brush, which proved extremely effective at preventing hair tangles in our home with multiple long-haired family members and pets.
Although the robot doesn’t include an extending side brush like some competing premium models, it does feature chassis lifting capabilities to help it transition between different floor types.
Yeedi also gave the S20 Infinity Ultra its most powerful suction system yet, rated at 22,000 Pa. That’s an increase of 2,500 Pa over the standard S20 Infinity and nearly double the average rating within this category. While some flagship competitors now advertise suction figures approaching 35,000 Pa, suction numbers alone rarely tell the whole story.

Our airflow testing measured an impressive 545 FPM on carpet, well above the category average of 429 FPM. In-use pressure measured 0.37 kPa, placing it almost exactly at the category average. Interestingly, this was slightly lower than the standard S20 Infinity, which we suspect may be due to the redesigned conical brush, although we can’t confirm that for certain.
Carpet deep-cleaning performance was a bit more mixed. The robot achieved 80% coffee ground pickup, 45% sand pickup, and 88% cat litter pickup in our standardized testing. It handled larger debris very well but struggled more with fine particles such as sand. We also noticed the robot had difficulty navigating portions of our carpet test bench, which may have negatively affected its overall results.
As we’ve mentioned in many of our reviews, advertised suction ratings are often more useful for marketing than predicting real-world performance. Brush design, airflow, floor type, and debris size all play equally important roles in determining how well a robot actually cleans.
Mopping Performance
The biggest innovation on the S20 Infinity Ultra is undoubtedly Yeedi’s new Focus Jet mopping system. Before the roller mop reaches the floor, the robot sprays water directly onto stains to help loosen dried-on messes. Watching the system operate is surprisingly satisfying, and it certainly gives the robot a unique approach compared to most roller-mop competitors.
During everyday maintenance cleaning, the difference wasn’t always dramatic compared to other premium roller mop systems. However, during our controlled stain testing, the spray noticeably helped soften tougher dried messes before the roller passed over them. While some users may consider the feature a gimmick, we found that it does provide genuine cleaning benefits in more demanding situations.

The dock continues the hands-off experience by automatically washing the roller mop, dispensing cleaning solution, emptying the dustbin, cleaning the station, and drying the mop with 145°F hot air. Yeedi doesn’t officially publish the hot water washing temperature, although it’s possible the system shares similar hardware with comparable Ecovacs models.
The roller mop lifts approximately 10 mm when carpets are detected, but more importantly, a protective cover shields the damp roller during carpet cleaning. This design makes the exact lift height far less important than on traditional spinning mop systems. The mop can also extend outward to improve edge cleaning, although we occasionally noticed the robot drifting away from walls before correcting itself, leaving small sections untouched.
Compared to the standard S20 Infinity, the Ultra’s roller mop is significantly longer, covering nearly the full width of the robot and allowing it to clean more floor with every pass.

Battery Life and Efficiency
Yeedi rates the S20 Infinity Ultra for up to 200 minutes of runtime using its 6,400 mAh battery, but our real-world testing produced less impressive results.
Based on our standardized coverage calculations, the robot could theoretically clean approximately 2,675 square feet at minimum suction before requiring a recharge. While respectable, this falls below our category average and trails the standard S20 Infinity. At maximum suction, estimated coverage dropped to just 343 square feet.
One reason for these lower numbers is cleaning efficiency. Throughout our testing, the robot consistently took longer than expected to complete our standard cleaning courses. On hard floors, it achieved only 0.62 square meters per minute, roughly half the category average and currently the slowest result we’ve recorded using this testing method.
Considering how well the standard S20 Infinity performed in the same tests, these efficiency results were somewhat surprising and represent one of the Ultra’s biggest weaknesses.
Obstacle Avoidance
Obstacle avoidance, on the other hand, was a clear strength. The S20 Infinity Ultra earned an overall avoidance score of 83%, comfortably exceeding our category average of 62%.
Performance on hard floors was particularly impressive. Although the robot still made contact with our soda can, it successfully avoided our simulated pet waste, which remains one of the most important tests for real-world usability. Carpet proved more challenging, with the robot clipping both the soda can and toy truck during testing, but overall performance remained well above average compared to most robot vacuums we’ve reviewed.
As always, real-world obstacle avoidance will vary depending on lighting conditions, flooring, and household clutter, but the S20 Infinity Ultra consistently demonstrated reliable navigation.
Smart Features and App
The Yeedi app provides a comprehensive collection of smart features. Users can customize vacuuming and mopping behavior, create personalized cleaning routines, target individual rooms, manage multiple floor maps, establish no-go zones, and integrate the robot with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Matter-compatible smart home ecosystems.
Additional features include AI stain detection, expandable map boundaries, and real-time maintenance tracking, giving owners plenty of control without making the app feel overly complicated.
Final Thoughts
The Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra is one of the company’s most feature-rich robot vacuums to date. It combines powerful suction, excellent everyday cleaning performance, advanced automation, and an innovative Focus Jet mopping system into a package that feels considerably more premium than its asking price.
The longer roller mop, comprehensive self-cleaning dock, excellent hair-tangle resistance, and above-average obstacle avoidance make it particularly appealing for busy households with pets and mixed flooring. While battery efficiency, cleaning speed, and edge consistency leave some room for improvement, they aren’t significant enough to overshadow what is otherwise a very capable robot vacuum.
If your priorities are low-maintenance cleaning, strong automation, and one of the most advanced roller mopping systems currently available without paying flagship prices, the Yeedi S20 Infinity Ultra is an easy recommendation and one of the best value options in its class.
