Roborock is raising the bar for automated floor cleaning at IFA 2026 with the introduction of its latest flagship lineup, including the Roborock Saros 20 Flow Complete. Designed to reduce hands-on maintenance while delivering deeper vacuuming and mopping, the new robot combines powerful suction, advanced navigation, and an upgraded roller mop system in an ultra-slim body.
Powerful Cleaning in an Ultra-Slim Design
The Saros 20 Flow Complete packs 36,000Pa of suction power into an ultra-slim 8.98cm chassis, allowing it to clean underneath more furniture while still delivering strong pickup performance. Its RetractSense LiDAR Navigation works with Roborock’s Reactive AI system to recognize more than 300 types of obstacles and navigate around them in both bright and dark environments.
The robot is also designed to handle challenging transitions between rooms. Roborock’s AdaptiLift Traverse 3.0 system allows the Saros 20 Flow Complete to cross double thresholds of up to 8.8cm, helping it move more easily across different areas of the home.
SpiraFlow 2.0 Brings More Powerful Mopping
One of the biggest highlights is the SpiraFlow 2.0 Self-Cleaning Mop, a roller-style mop designed to provide more consistent pressure and water distribution while cleaning hard floors. It delivers 15N of downward pressure, rotates at up to 240 RPM, and uses 16 pressurized water outlets to tackle stubborn dirt and stains.
Dual Lifting Arc Side Brushes also help extend cleaning closer to walls and edges, providing full edge coverage while the robot moves around furniture and room boundaries.
The Saros 20 Flow Complete is paired with a redesigned dock that automates much of the maintenance. The dock can wash the mop with 100°C pressurized water and automatically dispense detergent, reducing the amount of routine cleaning users need to do themselves.
Smarter Water and Carpet Cleaning
The robot can automatically adjust its water flow based on the type of flooring it detects using AI RGB recognition. For example, it can reduce water usage on wood floors to help minimize streaking while adapting its cleaning approach across mixed surfaces.
Carpet cleaning is also handled automatically. Users can choose whether carpets should receive a deeper clean or be avoided, with the Saros 20 Flow Complete able to increase suction, lift the mop, and adjust its cleaning path to help keep rugs dry.
SmartPlan 3.0 Handles the Cleaning Strategy
Roborock is also introducing SmartPlan 3.0, which takes a more automated approach to cleaning. The system can recognize different room types, learn cleaning habits, and automatically select an appropriate strategy.
That can include increasing suction where necessary, sending the mop back for additional washing when needed, or reducing cleaning power during Do-Not-Disturb periods to keep noise down.
Easier Maintenance and Improved Hygiene
Beyond cleaning floors, Roborock has also redesigned parts of the system to make maintenance easier. The dirty-water tank features a simpler internal structure intended to reduce residue buildup and make rinsing easier. An upgraded handle makes the tank easier to empty, while a 75° tiltable roller provides better access when removing and cleaning the roller.
Roborock also says the new mopping system can achieve a 99.99% bacteria removal rate and is certified safe for pets and infants.

With its combination of 36,000Pa suction, an ultra-slim 8.98cm design, advanced obstacle recognition, high-pressure roller mopping, automatic mop washing, and smarter cleaning strategies, the Roborock Saros 20 Flow Complete is positioned as a major step forward for hands-off floor care.
Roborock also showcased the Saros 20 Neo and Saros Rover at IFA 2026, expanding its latest generation of home-cleaning robots beyond the Saros 20 Flow Complete. Together, the new models highlight Roborock’s push toward cleaning systems that require less user intervention while adapting more intelligently to the home.
