Hey everyone! Today we’re taking an in-depth look at the Roborock Qrevo Slim. Roborock sent me a sample for review, but all opinions expressed here are entirely my own. If you’re curious about this product, you can find a link in the video description.
Unboxing the Roborock Qrevo Slim
The Qrevo Slim comes in a simple, straightforward retail box. Inside, you’ll find the usual assortment of product literature, including a user guide, safety instructions, a quick start guide, app setup instructions, and a diagram of the vacuum’s components. The package also includes a power cord in Roborock gray, a ramp for the dock with a honeycomb design, velcro-removable mopping pads and modules, an extra vacuum bag, and of course, the robot vacuum itself.
At first glance, the Qrevo Slim immediately feels premium. It has a sleek, modern design and a low profile, which makes it ideal for getting under furniture. Unlike other Roborock models, this one doesn’t have a LiDAR module on top. Instead, all navigation is handled by sensors located on the front and sides of the vacuum.
Design and Features
The vacuum has multiple control options and supports an intelligent voice assistant. The top of the vacuum features a magnetic cover that can be removed to access the dustbin and app setup code. The dustbin itself is easy to remove and clean, with a filter that snaps in and out effortlessly.
One of my favorite features is the flexi arm side brush, which extends to reach corners and edges, ensuring a more thorough clean. The Duo rubber roller system is also impressive, allowing you to remove and clean the rollers easily. The mop pads snap into place, lift automatically when encountering carpets, and extend outward to clean along edges. Overall, the Qrevo Slim combines a slim profile with advanced cleaning capabilities.

The Multi-Functional Dock
The dock is where the Qrevo Slim truly shines. It includes separate clean and dirty water tanks for mopping, a float indicator for the dirty water tank, and removable trays for easy cleaning. The dock also manages cable routing to allow a flush mount against walls. One of the most convenient features is the dock’s self-cleaning and drying functionality, which keeps the mop pads ready for the next clean. Setting up the dock is straightforward—simply clip it into place, and it’s ready to go.
First Cleaning Experience
Testing the Qrevo Slim in a household with a dog and long-haired residents, I found that the vacuum performed exceptionally well. The dustbin collected hair, crumbs, and fine dust efficiently, while the Duo rollers and side brushes ensured that edges and corners were cleaned thoroughly. Even after the first clean, the mop pads looked fresh, thanks to the dock’s washing and drying system. While some dust collected on the sensors, a quick wipe keeps everything functioning optimally.
Roborock App Overview
The Roborock app provides a high degree of control and customization. You can view your home map, set up no-go zones or virtual walls, and even monitor cleaning via a live camera. The app allows room-by-room cleaning, zone cleaning, or full-house cleaning. You can adjust suction power and water flow, configure the dock for auto-emptying or mop washing, and control carpet-specific cleaning behaviors. The app also lets you customize flexi arm usage and mop extension, and it includes AI features for obstacle avoidance. Overall, the app is comprehensive, user-friendly, and allows you to fine-tune cleaning to suit your home.
Performance and Comparison
Compared to typical robot vacuums, the Qrevo Slim is priced higher—about twice the cost of a standard model—but it delivers significantly more power and features. It offers nearly double the suction power, although measured CFM remains average at 6.9. Noise levels peak at 72 dB on max suction, which is comparable to standard vacuums despite its higher performance. Runtime reaches up to 180 minutes, slightly higher than the average of 167 minutes, and the 5200 mAh battery is robust, though slightly smaller than the largest batteries on the market.
The vacuum’s StarSight navigation system replaces the traditional top-mounted LiDAR module with side and rear sensors, giving the unit a lower profile without compromising navigation. The vacuum includes self-emptying, mop washing and drying, mop lifting to avoid carpets, and mop extension for edges and corners. The Duo roller brush system and extendable side brushes ensure thorough cleaning, while main brush lifting—a premium feature—protects carpets and improves performance. A built-in camera allows live video monitoring, though you cannot manually capture photos or videos.
Pros and Cons
Overall, the Qrevo Slim delivers a premium cleaning experience. Its low profile allows it to clean under furniture, and the Duo roller and extendable side brushes provide exceptional coverage. The dock’s self-washing and drying system keeps mop pads ready for every clean, and the highly customizable app gives you full control over cleaning preferences.
Some minor drawbacks include limited obstacle avoidance compared to competitors, occasional hair tangles at the ends of the rollers, and the lack of photo or video capture in the live monitoring function.
Final Thoughts
The Roborock Qrevo Slim can be thought of as a shorter, slightly more powerful version of the Roborock Creo Master. Its StarSight navigation system, Duo roller brush system, and self-maintaining mopping features make it a standout choice for homes with pets or high-traffic areas. While there is room for improvement in obstacle avoidance, the vacuum delivers excellent suction, thorough cleaning, and premium functionality for a variety of surfaces. If you want a high-performance, versatile robot vacuum that fits under furniture, tackles corners effectively, and minimizes maintenance with self-cleaning features, the Qrevo Slim is a compelling option. With a combination of advanced navigation, powerful cleaning, and a sleek low-profile design, it ranks among the most capable robot vacuums available today.
