Unboxing and Setup

Right out of the box, the Roborock F25 includes everything needed to get started. Inside, you’ll find the main unit, handle, charging base, power cord, spare washable filter, cleaning brush, and product documentation. Setup is quick and straightforward—simply snap the handle into place, charge the vacuum fully, and fill the clean water tank. Within minutes, the F25 is ready to tackle your floors.

Cleaning Performance

When it comes to performance, the Roborock F25 punches well above its price point. Priced roughly $100 below the category average, it still delivers an impressive 20,000 Pascals of suction power.

While real-world airflow and suction are slightly behind a few higher-end competitors, overall cleaning performance remains strong and consistent. Noise levels peak at around 83 decibels, which is technically louder than average, but in everyday use it doesn’t feel noticeably noisy.

Battery life is another area where the F25 shines. It offers nearly double the runtime of many competing models, making it well-suited for larger homes or longer cleaning sessions. The large clean and dirty water tanks further reduce interruptions, allowing you to clean more area before needing to refill or empty them.

Maintenance and Smart Features

Maintenance is where the Roborock F25 truly sets itself apart. The built-in self-cleaning system includes a five-minute quick-dry cycle that uses 194°F hot air—the hottest drying temperature we’ve seen in this category. This same high temperature is also used during hot water mop washing, helping to break down stubborn grime and reduce odors more effectively than cooler systems.

The F25 also features smart dirt detection, which automatically adjusts suction power and water flow based on how dirty the floor is. Combined with its lightweight build and flexible design, this makes the vacuum feel effortless to use. One standout feature is the 180-degree lie-flat capability, which allows the vacuum to slide easily under furniture and into tight spaces. This design makes it one of the easiest wet dry vacuums to maneuver that we’ve tested.

Edge cleaning is also well executed thanks to the dual-edge design, allowing for precise, edge-to-edge cleaning along baseboards and trim without leaving streaks behind.

Where It Falls Short

Despite its strong feature set, the Roborock F25 does leave a few things on the wish list. There’s no LED headlight on the cleaning head, which would have been helpful for spotting dirt in darker areas. It also lacks a self-propelling system, though the lightweight design helps offset this. Steam cleaning isn’t included—understandable at this price point, but something we’d love to see in a future model.

A few smaller conveniences are also missing, such as automatic shut-off when the unit is left standing upright and a precise battery percentage display. Additionally, there’s no dedicated solution tank, so cleaning solution must be mixed directly into the clean water tank.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Roborock F25 delivers excellent value for its price. Its combination of strong suction, long battery life, hot air drying, and hot water mop washing makes it a standout option in the wet dry vacuum category. The lightweight build and innovative lie-flat design further enhance its ease of use, especially in tight or hard-to-reach areas.

While features like LED lighting, auto shut-off, and a detailed battery display would improve the experience, the Roborock F25’s performance, smart features, and competitive pricing make it a solid and compelling choice for anyone in the market for a wet dry vacuum.
