Today we’re taking a closer look at the Roborock F25 RT wet dry vacuum. Roborock sent this unit over for testing, but as always, all opinions are entirely our own. After putting it through real-world testing, the F25 RT turned out to be a surprisingly capable cleaner that balances strong performance with an aggressive price point.

Unboxing and Setup
Inside the box, you’ll find everything needed to get started, including the main vacuum unit, handle, charging base, power cord, spare washable filter, cleaning brush, a small bottle of cleaning solution, and the product manual.
Setup is refreshingly simple. The handle snaps into place in seconds, and after charging the battery and filling the clean water tank with water and solution, the vacuum is ready to go.

Performance and Cleaning Power
One of the biggest surprises with the Roborock F25 RT is just how much performance it delivers for the price. It comes in at nearly half the average cost of many competing wet dry vacuums, yet still manages to include features and specs typically found in more premium models.
The F25 RT delivers 20,000Pa of suction power, which is comfortably above average for this category. During testing, it also recorded some of the highest in-use airflow numbers we’ve seen from a wet dry vacuum. While its sealed suction measurements came in slightly below average, real-world cleaning performance remained impressive across both wet and dry messes.
Noise levels are slightly quieter than average, though wet dry vacuums in general tend to operate more quietly than cordless stick vacuums. Battery life lands around average when using Eco mode, but runtime drops noticeably when switching to Max mode, which is expected given the increased power output.
Smart Design Choices
Roborock made several thoughtful design decisions that improve the overall usability of the F25 RT.
Both the clean and dirty water tanks are larger than average, which means fewer interruptions for refilling or emptying during larger cleaning sessions. More importantly, the clean water tank is positioned above the roller, helping distribute weight more evenly. This makes the vacuum feel lighter and easier to maneuver than many competing models.
While there’s no dedicated cleaning solution tank, that omission is understandable considering the price point and doesn’t significantly impact daily use.
Maintenance Features That Stand Out
Maintenance is another area where the F25 RT performs exceptionally well.
The vacuum includes a self-cleaning mode along with a 30-minute quiet drying cycle that uses 190°F hot air — the hottest drying temperature we’ve tested on any wet dry vacuum so far. That same temperature is also used during the hot water mop washing process, helping improve roller cleanliness and reduce odors.
What’s especially impressive is that Roborock includes these high-temperature cleaning features across the entire F25 lineup rather than reserving them only for premium models.
Maneuverability and Everyday Use
The lightweight construction and flexible design make the F25 RT especially easy to handle. One of its standout features is the 180-degree lie-flat capability, allowing the vacuum to reach under furniture and tight spaces with minimal effort.
Combined with dual-edge cleaning, the vacuum does an excellent job cleaning along baseboards and edges, helping reduce the need for manual touch-up cleaning afterward.
Overall, it’s one of the more user-friendly wet dry vacuum designs we’ve tested.
Customer Feedback and Real-World Reception
Since release, the Roborock F25 RT has received overwhelmingly positive user feedback, averaging around 4.7 out of 5 stars across customer reviews.
Owners frequently praise its strong suction performance, effective self-cleaning system, lightweight handling, and quiet operation. Many also highlight how easy it is to maneuver compared to heavier competitors in the category.
Its sleek design and approachable feature set make it especially appealing for everyday household cleaning.
Where the F25 RT Falls Short
Despite its strong value, there are a few missing features worth mentioning.
The vacuum does not include an LED headlight, which would have been useful for spotting debris in darker areas. It also lacks dirt detection sensors, meaning suction and water flow adjustments are handled manually rather than automatically.
Another small omission is the lack of auto shut-off when the vacuum is standing upright. While not a major issue, it’s a convenience feature found on some competing models.
Battery information is also fairly basic. There’s no detailed percentage readout, and the vacuum only provides limited battery status information until the battery gets low.
The F25 RT also skips self-propelling technology. While it remains lightweight and easy enough to push, it doesn’t glide quite as effortlessly as some higher-end models from brands like Tineco, Dreame, or even Roborock’s own Dyad series.
Steam cleaning is another absent feature, though given the price category, its omission is understandable.
Final Verdict
The Roborock F25 RT is an impressively well-rounded wet dry vacuum that focuses on delivering the features that matter most while keeping the price extremely competitive.
With strong suction, hot water washing, industry-leading hot air drying temperatures, excellent maneuverability, and a practical lie-flat design, it offers far more than you might expect at this price point.
While it does sacrifice a few premium conveniences like LED headlights, advanced battery monitoring, and self-propulsion, the overall package still delivers exceptional value. For shoppers looking for a capable and affordable wet dry vacuum, the Roborock F25 RT stands out as one of the strongest budget-friendly options currently available.
