Unboxing and Setup Experience

The Eufy X10 Pro Omni makes a strong first impression right out of the box. The packaging clearly outlines the robot’s major features, including suction power, navigation technology, mopping system, and Omni Station capabilities. Inside, everything is well organized, and setup instructions are integrated directly into the packaging for a smooth first-time experience.

The box includes the robot vacuum itself, the Omni Station base, a power cord, a pre-installed dust bag, and the necessary safety and quick-start documentation. Setup is simple: attach the ramp to the base, plug the station in, fill the clean water tank, and place the robot on the dock to begin charging.

Robot Design and Build Quality

The Eufy X10 Pro Omni has a modern, premium look with a slightly taller profile due to its LiDAR navigation module. On top of the robot, you’ll find three physical control buttons and a hinged flap that provides access to the onboard dust bin. Although the vacuum supports automatic self-emptying, the dust bin can still be removed for manual cleaning when needed.

Around the body of the robot are Eufy’s AI-powered cameras and sensors, which enable obstacle recognition and navigation. These sensors are housed behind a removable protective film that should be taken off before first use. On the side of the robot, ports allow it to automatically empty debris, refill water, charge, and wash and dry its mop pads when docked.

Underneath the robot, the hardware is thoughtfully laid out. It features a side cleaning brush, cliff sensors, carpet detection sensors, and spring-loaded drive wheels that help it traverse thresholds and uneven flooring. The active detangling roller brush is easy to remove for maintenance, though during testing it did require some manual detangling after heavy pet hair pickup.

One standout design feature is the mop system. While the mop pads appear circular at first glance, they are actually pentagon-shaped. This unique geometry increases surface contact as the pads spin, improving scrubbing coverage. The pads can also raise and lower automatically, applying downward pressure during mopping and lifting up when carpets are detected.

Omni Station: The Heart of the System

The Omni Station is where the Eufy X10 Pro Omni truly shines. This all-in-one base handles dust emptying, mop washing, warm-air drying, water refilling, and charging. The clean and dirty water tanks are clearly labeled and easy to remove, with the dirty water tank featuring a float indicator to signal when it needs to be emptied.

Inside the station, a pre-installed vacuum bag captures debris after each cleaning session. The mop washing tray at the bottom of the station is removable, making long-term maintenance much easier. While the station does not include built-in cord management, its overall design is practical, clean, and user-friendly.

During initial setup, the station automatically attempted to refill water and dry the mop pads, confirming that all systems were functioning correctly. Warm air drying is especially useful for preventing odors and bacteria buildup between cleaning runs.

Real-World Cleaning Performance

After completing its first full cleaning cycle, the Eufy X10 Pro Omni delivered impressive real-world results. The dust bag in the Omni Station was filled with a noticeable amount of debris, including pet hair, fine dust, crumbs, and outdoor particles such as grass and wood clippings. The onboard dust bin was left nearly spotless after self-emptying, which is exactly what you want from a system like this.

The roller brush picked up a large amount of hair but also showed some tangling, meaning occasional manual maintenance is still required. In contrast, the mop pads performed extremely well. After washing, they were clean, free of stains, and showed no visible buildup of dirt or debris. The removable wash tray in the base station also remained relatively clean and can be rinsed as needed over time.

App Experience and Smart Features

The Eufy Clean app plays a major role in the overall experience, and it performs very well. The app provides a clear overview of the robot’s status, battery life, and cleaning progress. After the initial mapping run, the robot created an accurate floor map, navigating efficiently around furniture and obstacles while cleaning room by room.

Users can choose between whole-home, room-based, or zone-based cleaning, and there are extensive customization options available. Suction power, water flow, and cleaning modes can all be adjusted, allowing you to vacuum, mop, or do both at the same time. An edge-hugging mopping mode is available for improved baseboard cleaning, and carpet detection with automatic suction boosting can be enabled for deeper cleans.

Advanced settings allow users to control how often the mop pads are washed, how long they are dried, and how frequently the robot empties its dust bin. The app also supports scheduling, cleaning history, multi-floor mapping, maintenance reminders, firmware updates, and virtual boundaries such as no-go and no-mop zones. A particularly nice touch is the built-in clean water level indicator, which isn’t commonly found on competing models.

Performance Compared to the Competition

In terms of raw performance, the Eufy X10 Pro Omni stands out. Its suction power is among the highest in its class, significantly exceeding the average of both Eufy’s own lineup and the broader robot vacuum market. Real-world testing confirmed that this translates into strong carpet and hard floor cleaning, including embedded debris.

Noise levels are slightly higher on maximum suction, but in everyday use the difference is not especially noticeable compared to other premium robot vacuums. Battery life is also strong, and because the robot can return to the base to recharge and resume cleaning, runtime limitations are rarely an issue.

The mop lift height is another highlight. With a lift of approximately 12 mm, the mop pads clear carpets better than most competitors, reducing the chance of damp carpet fibers during vacuum-only sections of a cleaning run.

Pros, Cons, and Final Thoughts

The Eufy X10 Pro Omni delivers excellent value for its price, offering strong suction, effective mopping, reliable object recognition, and a highly automated base station. The pentagon-shaped mop pads are a clever design choice, and the robot’s aggressive threshold climbing makes it well suited for homes with uneven transitions between rooms.

That said, there are areas where improvement is possible. The roller brush detangling system did not perform as well as expected during testing, and hot water mop washing is notably absent. Additionally, while the mop pads lift during vacuuming, they cannot be left behind at the base for vacuum-only runs, a feature found on some higher-end competitors.

Overall, the Eufy X10 Pro Omni is a capable and thoughtfully designed robot vacuum and mop that delivers premium features at a competitive price. For households looking to minimize manual cleaning while still achieving strong results on both hard floors and carpets, it represents a compelling option in today’s crowded robot vacuum market.
