Today, we’re taking a deep dive into the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller, Dreame’s newest flagship robot vacuum and the sixteenth model from the brand that we’ve tested. Across all manufacturers, we’ve now evaluated 129 robot vacuums, and Dreame continues to stand out as one of our favorite brands. With how much we’ve enjoyed using the MOA Z60—a robot that shares a striking amount of design DNA with this model—we were especially excited to see how the Aqua10 would perform in real-world testing.
A quick note before diving in: Dreame did send this unit over for review, but this is not a sponsored video or article. As always, what follows is our honest, unfiltered assessment based on hands-on testing.

Unboxing and Setup Experience
Unboxing the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller reveals a well-equipped package. Along with the robot itself, Dreame includes a large multi-purpose cleaning station complete with a ramp and separate power cord, two bottles of cleaning solution thanks to its dual-solution system, a spare dust bag, a multi-purpose cleaning tool, and the usual documentation. One omission worth mentioning is the lack of a spare roller. While not essential, it would have been a nice addition at this price point.
Setup is refreshingly simple. Once the dock is plugged in, the clean water tank is filled, and both cleaning solutions are added, the robot only needs time to charge before connecting to the Dreame Home app. From start to finish, the entire process takes just a few minutes.
Design and Build Quality
At first glance, the Aqua10 Ultra Roller looks nearly identical to the MOA Z60, and that’s no accident. The two robots share much of the same underlying platform. Where Dreame differentiates itself is in the base station design, which carries a slightly more premium, refined aesthetic. While design preferences are subjective, the Aqua10’s dock does feel more polished overall.

Cleaning Performance: Where the Aqua10 Excels
The standout feature of the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller is, without question, its mopping system. On our LVP floors, results were excellent. The entire process is fully automated, including mop washing, roller cleaning, dual-solution dispensing, hot-air drying, and even self-cleaning of the base station itself. Day-to-day maintenance is almost completely hands-free.
Dreame uses 212°F hot water for mop washing and 158°F hot-air drying, which does an excellent job of keeping the mop roller clean and hygienic. Mop lift measures above average at 14 mm, but the real innovation here is the automatic mop cover. When carpets are detected, the cover lowers over the roller, preventing damp mop contact and eliminating those familiar drag marks or soggy carpet edges.
Edge and corner performance is also impressive thanks to an extending mop roller that reaches outward while continuously rinsing with fresh water in real time. The dual-chamber solution system allows the robot to use separate formulas—one for everyday cleaning and another for tougher, pet-related messes. The only notable omission is electrolyzed or ozone water treatment, which would help prevent odors if water sits in the tank for extended periods.
Vacuuming and Pet Hair Handling
On the vacuuming side, the Aqua10 uses Dreame’s dual conical brush detangling system, designed to minimize hair wrap. This is paired with an extended side brush and mop extension for improved edge coverage. During testing, we happened to be watching a dog with long, coarse hair, and the Aqua10 handled it without issue. Hair pickup was consistent, and we didn’t encounter tangles or clogs in the brush system.
The robot also features Dreame’s ProLeap suspension system, allowing it to climb thresholds up to 80 mm. In practice, this makes it far more capable than most robots when transitioning between rooms with uneven flooring or raised thresholds.
Power, Noise, and Real-World Results
The Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller delivers an eye-catching 30,000 Pascals of suction, the highest figure we’ve ever tested. That’s roughly three times the category average and about 2,000 Pa more than the MOA Z60. Despite this immense power, noise levels remain well controlled. At maximum suction, the robot measured 79 dB—only slightly louder than average. Running it at lower power levels keeps operation impressively quiet.
In our carpet airflow testing, the Aqua10 recorded 520 feet per minute, well above the 421 FPM average and on par with other strong performers like the MOA Z60 and Dreame X50. In-use pressure topped out at 0.25 kPa, slightly below average, which we suspect is due to the dual-brush design not forming as tight of a seal as some competing systems.
In real-world cleaning tests, the Aqua10 earned a 90 out of 100 cleaning score, outperforming the category average of 88 and matching the MOA Z60. While that may not seem extraordinary given the suction rating, it reinforces an important reality: suction numbers often look more impressive on paper than they translate in practice.
App Experience and Smart Features
The Dreame Home app, available on both iOS and Android, remains one of the most robust robot vacuum platforms we’ve used. It allows for deep customization of vacuuming and mopping behavior, supports multi-floor mapping, no-go zones, custom routines, and room-specific targeting, and integrates with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. There’s also a built-in voice assistant and live video monitoring through the robot’s camera.
Dreame has clearly leaned into pet-friendly features as well. The app allows you to interact with pets through voice playback, locate them using the robot’s camera, and even identify pet activity zones that automatically become cleaning hotspots. Additional thoughtful touches include off-peak charging, intensive carpet cleaning modes, selective side-brush activation, and real-time maintenance tracking.
While the app’s depth introduces a slight learning curve, it remains our favorite overall robot vacuum app experience. Roborock deserves an honorable mention, but Dreame still takes the top spot for us.
User Feedback and Community Consensus
Since its release, the Aqua10 Ultra Roller has received generally positive feedback, averaging around 4.2 stars. Users frequently highlight its powerful cleaning, smooth navigation, fast mapping, quiet operation, and the convenience of features like mop washing, mop lifting, auto-empty docking, and the detangling brush system—especially for pet hair.
Criticism tends to focus on occasional app glitches, shorter-than-expected battery life in larger homes, and the expectation that a premium-priced robot should operate nearly flawlessly.
Reddit discussions echo many of these sentiments. The Aqua10 is often described as one of the most complete flagship robots available, with particular praise for its mopping system, continuous freshwater cleaning, strong suction, and obstacle avoidance. At the same time, some users report water droplets left behind, inconsistent navigation compared to competitors, dirty water tanks developing odors, and occasional hair buildup under the robot or in the base station.
Final Thoughts
After extensive testing, the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller stands out as one of the most advanced robot vacuums currently available. It combines exceptional mopping performance, class-leading suction, and a highly automated base station into a cohesive premium experience. While there’s room for improvement—particularly in mop wash duration, battery life, and long-term durability of certain components—Dreame continues to push the boundaries of what a flagship robot can deliver. The app experience remains best-in-class, and thoughtful extras like pet-focused features and smart maintenance tracking add meaningful value. At its core, the Aqua10 delivers exactly what a high-end robot vacuum should: a consistently clean home with minimal effort required. It’s not perfect, but it’s easily among the top contenders of 2025, and for anyone who values mopping performance as much as vacuuming power, the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller sets a new benchmark.
